Sales representatives needed a more effective way to present complex clinical data during live conversations with HCPs. Existing materials were dense, static, and difficult to navigate in real time — limiting the clarity and impact of the medicine’s value proposition.
I led a structured discovery and validation process including stakeholder interviews, journey mapping, and usability testing with sales reps.
The goal was to transform static clinical information into an interactive, scenario-based tool that supported natural dialogue and faster insight retrieval.
Design decisions were validated through moderated testing sessions to ensure the tool aligned with real-world rep workflows.
Usability testing participants expressed strong enthusiasm to integrate the tool into their HCP engagements.
Sales reps reported increased confidence when explaining clinical value and treatment scenarios. The clarity and structure of the experience accelerated decision support conversations.
Prior to full rollout, the client expanded the design model to additional medications based on early success and stakeholder validation.
This validated the platform’s strategic value beyond a single product.

To ensure adoption and clinical accuracy, I grounded the experience in real-world sales workflows and medical communication patterns.
The insights revealed a need for structured conversation pathways rather than static information screens.

Primary users who require fast access to structured clinical insights during live conversations. Their workflow demands clarity, speed, and confidence.

Recipients of clinical insights. The experience needed to support evidence-based discussions while remaining medically precise and digestible.
I restructured complex clinical content into guided, scenario-based pathways aligned with real-world sales conversations. The information architecture prioritized clarity, fast retrieval, and logical progression, reducing cognitive load while preserving medical accuracy.

High-fidelity prototypes were developed and tested with representative users to validate navigation clarity, content hierarchy, and conversational flow.
Testing Goals:

We tested the mid-fi prototype with potential users (sales reps) with 2 different kinds of test
Moderated Usability Tests: Conducted a usability test with 2 of the client's sales reps.
Collaborative Workshop: Collaborative workshop with the field advisory board to demo the prototype (10 sales reps)
Moderated usability sessions confirmed:
Users agreed the product will be impactful during their meetings with the HCPs
A more intuitive way of navigating clinical information in real time.”

I established a modular UI system that balanced clinical precision with conversational clarity.
The visual language emphasized hierarchy, accessibility, and reusable components to ensure scalability across medications while aligning with brand standards.

The final solution was a tablet-responsive web application built around scenario-driven navigation rather than static content.
The experience enabled sales reps to move fluidly between treatment scenarios while clearly communicating clinical value in real time.

I delivered detailed interaction specs and component documentation to ensure implementation fidelity and alignment across engineering, product, and medical stakeholders.
Close collaboration during build reduced ambiguity and maintained design integrity.
Following successful validation, the framework was positioned to scale across additional therapeutic areas and evolve into a broader digital sales enablement platform.
